Caphalon cookware sets?

I'm already starting my holiday shopping to avoid the crowds and my mother wants a caphalon cookware pots and pans set and I couldn't believe how expensive they are!! Is there any place I could find caphalon sets under or around $100? I DO NOT want anything second hand. Or is there nonstick pots and pans that are just as good anyone can recommend? Suggestions appreciated.

Sometimes you can find these in stores like TJ Maxx, Marshall's and Ross. Another excellent line that is almost the same thing is Circulon. That is what I have. Both lines make various different styles and have different types of handles, lids, external color, etc. Basically the type of pans these are is called anodized aluminum.

I did a search and found something very similar for you at Overstock.com. Their merchandise changes often, and shipping is usually only $3, but right now is only $1, no matter what you buy. Check them out. I copied the link for you to a set that has great reviews and is $99. It's very similar to Calphalon.

If mom is asking for Calphalon, then getting her an off brand won't be the same. Calphalon is the highest rated nonstick on the market.

Luckily, Calphalon sells "kicker" pieces, meaning they take a $150 fry pan and mark it temporarily to $50. They do this to urge people to try their lines. Go to a place like Bed Bath & Beyond and you can find pieces and use that obnoxious big blue 20% coupon and get that $150 pan for $40.

So instead of buying her a lesser quality set, you can get her 2 pieces of the cookware she has her eye on for christmas, 2 for her birthday, etc. You can build her a good collection, get her the pans she REALLY wants, and you will know exactly what to get her every holiday.

Oh, and don't buy the Calphalon from Target. They are not the same quality. I'll post some links to the current kicker pieces to make it easy... they change out these kicker pieces every 3 months or so, so you will be able to get her a variety of pieces...
