How do I partition the rest of my hard drive?

I have a 160GB hard drive and I reserved 60 of it for programs. How do go back and partion the other 100GB? Thanks in advance!

    Well, depending on what operating system you're using you can use the built in tool. (In Windows, it would be Disk Manager. I assume that if you were using Linux you'd know how already.)

    Or you could download a bootable Linux-Kernel based disk management tool, however I would advise against going that route. Your best bet is to use the tool in Windows, if you're using Windows.

    You can either use software you buy or sftware that comes with Windows called fdisk.

    Try going into a command prompt (select run from the start menu and type "command" or "cmd" at the prompt). Once at the command prompt, type "fdisk" - all without the quotes.

    As far as I know you have to do it all at the same time, so you would have to go back and reformat your computer again.
