Palin 2012 or Palin the Pariah?
My fiance and I have been arguing about Palin's future in politics, and I just wanted to pose it to the masses here:
Do you think Palin will be the Republican nominee in 2012 or do you think she'll get blamed for McCain's loss and basically become the pariah of the party.
His argument is that the Republican base votes in the nominee and that the base adores Palin. I think that they'll blame her for the loss of the presidency and the party will turn on her so fast it's gonna make her head spin.
I was just wondering what you guys thought...
Oh, and anti Obama and anti McCain talk is irrelevant at this point.

At this point, and this is just my opinion, I feel that Palin is the Pariah. But, I don't think she is going to back down easily. She is a very motivated woman and I would not be surprised to see her run again, if she does not turn out to be the Pariah.

She will not be blamed for the loss. The base loves Palin they never loved McCain. McCain added Palin to shore up the base. I believe she will run but will not get the nomination. She will divide the Republican party. In addition her qualifications will not be any more impressive than they are now.
