POLL: Has your dog ever expressed annoyance regarding your selection of music?
I'm listening to old techno songs (really just one song over and over) and my dog keeps looking at me like she's annoyed. Thank you for taking my poll, although it might annoy me if you sat under my desk just waiting for me to accidentally drop food :)

I don't think he's annoyed so much as consearned for me.
He knows I love angry metal, and he is worried that it will change my personality. He has also noticed that I don't hang out with the same friends I used to. He suspects that I am experimenting with recreational drugs too.
I appreciate it! Really, I do! It shows that he cares. I just wish he would trust me to make good decisions and realize I'm not going to be a little kid forever.

My cat Fluffypants definitely has a preference for certain songs. He will listen to Hawaiian music very close to the speaker, and Coldplay from farther away. Talk radio does not appeal to him in the least. He likes it when I sing to him, and change the lyrics to include him. I'm glad somebody likes it when I sing.

Not music. Mostly my taste in food. And YES to the hanging out under the desk. It works for my lil' boy too.

Yes, but I think it has to do with the volume of the music, rather than the style. Don't think dogs like a lot of dissonant sounds though.

Skyler likes all my music,but tends to get annoyed if its too loud,unless were in the car,then she likes it loud.And wants to sit in the front and hang her head out the window and stare at people.She is unique.She also pushes ME out of her way in MY bed!

Dogs have very sensitive hearing.
If you are blasting your radio, perhaps your dog is looking at you like you are RETARDED since you can make a dog go deaf.
Lower your crap music or at least get the dog some earplugs.

Yes. She howls loudly whenever my sister puts in a Jonas Brothers CD...
But the dog loves anything i put in.

shel quite happily sit with my while my music is playing but as soon as something like rap comes on shel start growling at the speakers
