too tall an order? / is it unreasonable / to text in haiku?
I would find it more interesting than most text-speak, but I fear I am expecting too much.
5 AnswersPoetry4 years agoCan someone help me determine the most likely cause of a washing machine not agitating, and leaking during loads larger than medium size?
My top-loading Maytag washing machine has been leaking, apparently from somewhere in the back, when the load is larger than medium size.
Today it was discovered that it isn't agitating.
I see several reasons that can cause either problem, but haven't seen one with overlap.
I would greatly appreciate any help with narrowing down the problem to minimize the time and cost to repair it.
Thank you very much.

I have a few grudges. I feel they are worthwhile, but I don't enjoy the weight of carrying them around.
Are there services available for surrogate grudge carriers?
2 AnswersPolls & Surveys5 years agoAdvice on troubleshooting a furnace fan that won't shut off? Thank you.?
Details:
fan will not shut off if even if thermostat is at lowest temp setting
fan is on 'auto' setting, not 'on'
fan runs when thermostat control is turned off, air but not heat
fan will only shut off if I manually turn off switch next to the furnace in the garage
furnace has been working well, but this winter has been turning off with a few seconds of 'on/off/on/offon/off'
Thank you for your help. I'd like to troubleshoot as much as possible before calling a professional.

2 AnswersThanksgiving5 years agoWhy do I lose my wireless internet connection every time the temperature gets past 80 degrees?
I've had this problem every summer with U Verse. My internet connection goes down for hours on hot days, usually during the afternoon and evening, which I assume are peak hours.
The tech last month finally figured out that I'd never been wired for U Verse, then rewired my home and upgraded our router. This week, they switched my channel to avoid getting run over by my neighbors in peak hours.
I believe that there is more demand than supply, and that I'm getting kicked off due to overload.
U Verse never seems to have an answer. I'd switch providers, but my choices are limited.
Has anyone else had this problem? I'm beginning to feel like the only one.
Thank you for your help.

The animals present were goats, sheep, wallabies, llamas, chickens, pigs, and deer.

Mangoes are delicious, but I'm leery of their pits- they remind me of tooth, or bone. Also, they are related to poison ivy and sumac, so they have dubious cohorts.

4 AnswersPolls & Surveys8 years agoDo a lot of bees in my eucalyptus tree mean that bees have made a hive inside the tree?
For the past week or longer, there are enough honeybees flying around my eucalyptus trees to make a buzzing noise I can hear from the back door of my house. It is hard for me to determine whether or not they've made a hive, because the trees are very tall with a lot of leaves.
A local beekeeper told me that it is very possible that the bees are just gathering pollen because a lot of plants have stopped blooming, and that they will move along when they are done.
I have a small child and I am very worried about us getting stung. The bees are mostly in the trees, but, they also fly around the yard and land on different surfaces, including us.
Does anyone know how to find a beehive in a tall tree, if it is not readily visible? Has anyone had this happen to their tree, and the bees did indeed move on and were not actually living inside the tree?
Thank you for your help.
If anyone is concerned, I am not intending to harm the bees. If necessary, I will try to have someone remove the bees and hive, unharmed. Killing them would be my last resort.
