How did your county vote?

This map is pretty cool....shows voting breakdown by county. Check out the "Voting shifts" map...it is crazy how blue it is.

I was shocked that my county actually voted for Obama by 5 points...in 2004 my county voted for Bush by 11 points. LOL...I feel so much more comfortable living in my county now.

How did your county vote and was there a big shift from last year???

(will post link when question posts)

Update 2:

Dana...your country was +25 for Bush and only +10 for McCain. Looks like you may want to move...next election I'm guess your county will be BLUE.

If he isn't your president...then who is your president???

My county voted Republican, like it has for all time. Sometimes I get depressed voting Democrat in Wyoming, because it has never never never voted any way other than Republican...never! Sometimes a vote just doesn't seem to count (but I will continue to vote anyway!). Sigh.

my county voted for obama by alot.

    in this election

    obama: 224,624 votes

    mccain: 158,064 votes

    in 2004s election:

    kerry: 205,900 votes

    bush 189,605 votes

democrat ratings went up from 51% to 58%

republican rating went down from 47% to 41%

CT is a democratic state...but it seems some of the the straggler republicans may have woken up a little bit with their bad voting in 2004

  • I live in South Carolina.....but I live in the most progressive part of the state....I live in Charleston, SC ...Charleston County....I voted for Obama and he won my County by 52%....80,000 plus votes...I'm happy that even though he didn't win my state ..that he at least won my county....I hate to say this about South Carolina but the rest of the state are a bunch of "rednecks"...lol

Don't know about counties, but my state was the reddest state of all this election!!

    The Obama win =

More incentive for me to earn less wealth to share! I'm gonna take 4 years off and work only PRN status... and enjoy some much needed down-time. : )

I'm kinda peeved Obama didn't win my county.

    McCain - 55%

    Obama - 43%

Atleast it wasn't too big of a difference.

McCain won my state by less than 400,000 votes. =\

My county voted as it always does. McCain won my county by 10 points. Go Cobb County GA! Obama is NOT my president. I didn't vote for his inexperienced butt!
