Catholics (Self-included Catholic) Do you think Russia has been consecrated or converted?

I have been researching the third secret of Fatima to a great extent. I don't believe either has been done. What do you think?

No, I don't believe so. Nor do I believe that the entire third secret has been revealed.

There are a lot of different and contradictory stories out there. Some claim that Sr. Lucia said that the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary has never been fully done. Other things I've read suggest that Pope John Paul II did consecrate Russia on the 25th of March, 1984. The Sedevacantists even claim that the "real" Sr. Lucia was murdered and a false Sr. Lucia substituted so that the "anti-popes" could claim that they had revealed the true Third Secret!

My personal opinion is that the Consecration of Russia may have taken place, but it was delayed to the point that we are now seeing the permissive will of God instead of His perfect will. His perfect will would have been:

"“If they listen to my requests, Russia will be converted and there will be peace.”

That's what *would* have happened if our Lady's requests had been honored promptly. Instead, we are now in His permissive will:

“In the end my Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, and it will be converted and a certain period of peace will be granted to the world.”

So Russia is partially converted, but it appears that it and the certain period of peace will end -- probably sooner than we think.

no, and I agree I do not believe the entire 3rd secret has been revealed. As much as I loved Pope John Paul II, and as important as the Pope is to us, I do not think God would have the Blessed Virgin Mary tell the children of an assassination attempt, it the whole of things it seems a little too trivial. Perhaps, the assassination attempt was the beginning of something or a sign of the prophecy but I do not think that it was the whole of it. Sister Lucia herself said the consecration they performed did not include Russia, and one specifically pertaining to Russia needed to be performed.

I do not think the consecration or conversion of Russia has happened if you look at the news coming out of there their whole country is in turmoil. The Immaculate Heart of the the Blessed Mother provides for peace not chaos.

Sister Lucia said the consecration was complete. She was very upset that some folks were claiming it had been inappropriately or ineffectively done.

    Why would she lie?

Still, it's perfectly obvious that the conversion has not been complete. There are rumors of Russia hooking up with China for war games. That's just scary!

No, not at all. Russia is not converted and there has not been "peace." The Vatican has not revealed the Third Secret in its entirety and kept Sr. Lucy quiet for years. Now she's dead and we may never know the truth. Look up Father Gruner on the internet. He is fighting to get the Third Secret revealed and Russia consecrated.

Oh, no I don't think so at all. And Putin is really starting to take Russia backwards, I think we'll see problems with them in the next 20 years or so. I think a storm is a brewing, slowly and not many paying attention, but brewing none the less.

Isn't Fatima just fascinating???? My mom was always enthralled with it, very mysterious.

Russia is slowly changing' by all reports.

old people are going to church that was once closed down.

type in Russia religion.....and you will see the proof.

it will take some considerable time to be completely converted.

The Russian brand of Christianity is Greek Orthodox and is being practiced more openly these days.

I think that 'technically speaking' the requirements for Russia being concecrated unto conversion were NOT met.
