Why would the middle class want Obama to bring back Clinton's tax plan?
In 1997 if I had made what I'm making now I would have paid $17,640 under Clinton's tax plan. Last year with Bush's plan my tax was $14,062.
You can figure yours out here:
$79,821 is less than the 250K Obama said he was going to raise taxes on.
I'd be happy to pay the extra taxes if it was going to pay off the debt. We're already paying too much on social programs.

They don't care. Remember the saying "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me". Well, they don't learn. It's AMAZING how they just don't listen when he says he will bring back the Clinton tax plan. I've told people that this is raising taxes, they say it's not. Just like you show, it is.
You can't win man. They will never believe it until they see someone actually reaching in their wallet and taking the money.

If you have kids, say good-bye to your per child tax credit. If you have kids 17 and under, you will be paying an extra $1500 per child. Yay for hope and change!
Most Obamules have no clue that their taxes were higher under Clinton than under Bush. And this SPECIFICALLY is going to affect the middle class.
In 2010, when "The Great and Powerful OB" let's Bush's tax cuts expire, millions of middle class homes will be wondering why their tax rebate is so much smaller than it was the year before, and the answer is, you just had your wealth spread.

Not THIS middle class family.
During the Clinton years, my husband and I usually had to take out loans every April to pay our taxes. By the time we got one loan paid, it was time to get another one. I claimed single and none, my husband claimed married and none. We had two children and times were very difficult and lean.
We bought our house during the Bush 41 administration -- and almost lost it during the Clinton years. We sacrificed much to hold on to the little we had. Our finances didn't recover until the Bush 43 administration. We are retired now ......

The sheep are just that sheep. Obama is the shepherd saying go here, go there and they do. I too would have paid 15-20% more under his plan. I work long hours and have a lot of responsibility and hate parting with what I work so hard to get. It proves unequivocally that people as a whole are stupid.

It depends on how you define "Middle Class." the median income in 2006 was about $70K per year, however some politicians use the term "middle class" in different ways. If you make $70k/year then you would pay more taxes under clinton than the current president, however if you refer to middle class as anything above the poverty line then there are quite a few people that wouldn't mind Clinton's tax rates.

I know right not to mention small businesses! People were blind. Many of my friends voted for Obama was trendy. They had no real reason they just kept saying Change. When I asked how he would change everything they were silenced.
Clinton angered the middle class. It will happen again. Just this time around the consequence will be greater because of our struggling economy.

People who think Clinton's tax plan was easy on the lower middle class are idiots. I wasn't making squat and got raped on every check.

Don't forget 11 years of inflation. The US sucks in investing in education, health, infrastructure, and in general in producing a high quality population.. The money you didn't pay was borrowed from the Chinese Communists and wasted in poorly managed foreign wars. You will get the bill sooner or later, NO MATTER WHO'S IN CHARGE, even if conservatives falsely claim otherwise.
