Or, if you want to, you can choose to reformat the entire device by clicking it's properties under My Computer and selecting FAT as the file system. It's not as scary as it sounds and all of the necessary operating instructions will be rewritten to the device from ROM inside the device. I've done this a couple of times over the years.
