Is Obama stuck with a "Read my Lips" comment like Bush 41? "No New Taxes?" OR "95% will get a tax cut?"?

If you make less then $250,000 are you expecting to be taxed less in 2009?

How about $200,000, or $150,000, or $100,000? Or less?

Update:

**How many making under $100,000 expect a tax increase?

Update 2:

*** How many making under $40,000 expect a rebate check?

I think he is. He's made a lot of expectations for himself that I'm not entirely sure he can live up to. But, his supporters don't really care. They'll make up some excuse as to why he couldn't fulfill that commitment.

Besides the Bush tax cuts that wll expire, there are also new TAXES, yes new and they affect ALL who have a 401k and/or an IRA. The dems want to tax those benefits. They could be taxed as a capital gains, or no tax deduction on your income.

And if Obama raises tax rates then guess what, the likelihood will be that just like when George H.W. Bush raised tax rates, inflation-adjusted tax revenue will DECLINE.

Are we gonna do this for the next four years, or are we gonna sweep up our own political street? Let's face it, we look reeeaaally bad, due to Bush and friends. We could have had Commander Cobra and Destro in the white house and they would have been less villanous. We have to concede this one. 3rd party time? Only this time, we all agree on the same guy...not a republican.

Everyone will get tax increases in 2011, when the Bush reforms expire.

I expect my taxes to increase under his socialist rule. As do most Americans.

I don't think so. Economic reality and the disaster that is Bush governance will create a forgiving environment on that one.
