Why does it seem that everyone that wanted Obama to win...?

This wasn't your normal election. People really believed that their candidate could undo the damage of GWB administration. Most were strongly opposed to the opposing candidate for one reason or another. Alot of emotions were involved. Never have I seen people get more personal in their discussions about the two candidates as I did in this election.

Those of us who *really* wanted Obama to win have been waiting for this moment for 8 years. We've had to endure all of the partisan harassment from the gloaters on the right. And, we truly believe that the change Obama promises will be real and sweeping. We truly see a new era of American prosperity in the coming years. And that begins with an Obama victory.

On the other hand, the McCain supporters *really* thought that their candidate would somehow pull out the victory, like Bush did in 2000 and 2004. They haven't bought into the Obama mantra of change and many actually believe in the smears that the McCain campaign put out about Obama, such as the calls of socialist, muslim, and friend of terrorists. And, it's been so long for them, they actually don't know how to handle losing a presidential election.

First, I just want to say this is my OPINION!Ok?Alright!

Well people are more happy about him because he's African American.

They are also happier because his plans which in my OPINION is really not logical. Yes we all want to think that but really really think hard.No that can't happen!The only way to get money is to earn it.When you just get money you spend it on stupid things.

The people are more upset becuase his plans just like before. He plans to take us out of the war and that(in my opinion) is not a good thing.The only reason the terrorist are staying over there is us and if we come back I think they will come back too.

REMEBER:This is only my opinion please don't change you whole life becuase of what I said.

ALSO:I am against O'bama and I am pretty sure if he was white(I am not racist) he would have lost.I am just saying!

Because Democrats are spoiled like small children and 8 years of not having their way almost made their heads explode.
