You need to be 35, born in the US or on a Military Base, and have not left the country for 14 yrs. You should know a lot of things like foreign policy, how to run a country, and other things.

the constitution and all documents and writing that our country was founded on (ie. everything from the englightenment).
This is the basic. They also need to know all of the world events. They also need to know what the people that work for them are doing.

The U.S. Constitution. Unfortunately, most of our Presidents have expressed a desire to support it, while their action showed utter contempt for it.

My geography teacher had her name on the ballot. You need to be over 45 and american born citizen and have not left the country in any period. and thats about it. the rest is money wise. sadly.
