What would you recommend for a three day availability after being at Prague and wanting to end at Venice?
Urgent please!
This is the situation:
I'll be in Prague, lets say from monday night to wednesday morning, then I want to be at Venice on friday's night. I can't decide between take a train for sightseing (without stops in towns) or take a flight to Milan and have to pay for sleep there about two days.
Please help me with this. Is is possible or doable to take the train and be at Venice when I need to be? Or it wud be too short of time?
Answer from europeans would be great but answers from people with similar experiences would be even more great.
Thanks in advance.

There's more than enough time to get from Prague to Venice between Wednesday and Friday.
There is a direct night train (train EN 207) from Prague to Venice. It leaves Prague at 5:11 pm and arrives in Venice the next morning at 8:45 am. You won't be doing any sightseeing through the night, but you don't have to pay for a hotel for the night either. I frequently take the night trains (including this one) and find it a good option for getting around.
You the standard fare for a berth in a cuchette is 70 or 80 euro depending on whether you're in a compartment with 6 or 4 berths. However, there's also a discounted "Smart" fare for 49 or 59 euro for the same accomodations that is sometimes available if you buy tickets in advance. You can go to one of the train stations in Prague to pick up tickets.
You could stay in Prague until as late as Thursday or spend an extra day around Venice.

Just take the train and enjoy your self.
The train trip is exiting for the every minute of it.
Not like America or Australia, where after 30 minutes you get bored to death.
