I have a wounded baby pig!?

I have a 4 month old pig that has been severely bitten by a dog. His wounds are scattered , bleeding, yet stopped. I have cold packed the wounds and given him pain meds, applied triple antibiotic (Neosporin) and brought him inside to watch over him for the next few days. What else can I do for him?

Sounds like you've done all you can for him. The only thing i would suggest is making sure he has a dark warm place to rest, he is likely to be in shock and this will affect his healing if he does not have a chance to recover. Also, obviously, take him to the vet for a check up as soon as you are able, if the bites are severe they may need more attention than you can give.

    Good luck to the piggy.
