Sometimes having sex in dreams means that you want to get to know the person you're having sex with better. If you aren't dreaming of one person, then maybe you want to get to know yourself better or you are missing out on close relationships.
Or, it could also mean that you are bored in your sexual relationship and want more exciting encounters.

You would get a lot more info in analysis of the dreams if you were to describe one or two. I f you are dreaming of sexual relations with the opposite gender then here you are in a mutual zone, but if the dreams are with the same gender then I'd suggest there is a communication problem with your partner. Whether you are having sexual intercourse has no bearing on the imaginative outlets of frustration or desires such as (nymphomania (a compulsion to have an orgasm).

Either:
You've been wanting intercourse.
Or that you are constantly thinking about it or the next time you're going to have it.
That or subconsciously you think you need more intercourse or have sexual fantasies that you want to fulfill.
Hope it helps!
