What gun would be the best for me?
I've been wanting to buy a gun for some time now, but have kept putting it off. With the incoming flood of liberals into the house and senate, it's finally pushed me into buying one bore they make it a big hassle. My question is, what would you suggest? I'm thinking about a handgun, maybe a .40 caliber 1911, or maybe a Glock of some kind. I do plan on getting my carry permit. I'm not limited to handguns, either, so I want your opinions. Thanks!

how about a desire lists... marlin SBL 40 5/70 lever action, pair of nickel m1911 a1's, BFR chambered in 40 5/70, S&W 500 mag, STI tournament carry close, perchance a pair of unmarried movements in 40 5 colt, a extreme high quality rifle in 338 lapua, a 30-06 that i'll shoot (no longer the former Winchester) a clean .270, and bigger 22 that wouldn't have the accuracy complications after 20 rounds a 357 or 40 4 with a 2 inch barrel, presently searching for one... no longer certain about shotguns, yet easily a slug gun, per chance an 870 or a 500 for homestead protection, My problem is I actually have quite a few never been fired guns, and that i'm no longer about firstly those, like the Winchester 70 from 1940, won't ever shoot that, and that the economy sucks, and that i purely all started.

i carry a p95 rugger 9mm. smaller than a 1911 but about the same size as a 40cal. if i had to choose between a 40 and a 1911. go with the 40 easier to conceal. 1911 maybe to clumsy to draw in a hurry

For home defense a large caliber revolver is best.
For carry use a smaller compact automatic.
I would not recommend a Glock for someone new to guns.
You could always get a pump shotgun in 12 ga.

i prefer glock, accurate, quick, easy to clean and use and i found no technical problems with it.
if you want a tiny bullet gun... then get diana
i'm not sure about shotguns though
machine guns... get a good old russian AK 47!!! is and will always be the best in the market!!
but if you want to find a gun that is best for you, then it will depend on your personal experience and taste.

A good gun for you to buy is one that is easy to rotate roughly 120 degrees. That way its comfortable for your wrist/trigger finger while it rests on your teeth.
