what combi ski boots are good?

I am doing nordic skiing at my school and they say to get combi ski boots. what brands are the best and and have the cheapest price? also what are some good brand skate poles?

    I have Rossignol combi's and they are really good and quite comfortable. My skate poles are Swix, which is the best brand in my opinion. Have fun skiing!

    You need a pair of boots that fit your foot properly. Every foot is different and the brand that is best for your friend may not be what is best for you. Go to a top ski shop and try on different pairs, expect to try on at least 3 pair and wear the best fit for 3-4 hours in the shop while your foot adjusts to the boot. Get foot beds and also get checked for cants and flex of the boot. Have fun. Avoid the links that are posted in Answers for a while, one has a spyware virus in it.

    Definitely what works for you, although I know I used combi Rossignol boots for a while. For poles, I would go with something light, and I use Swix.
