Can I use a desktop monitor with my laptop when....?
my laptop monitor is flickering? If I slap the back of the laptop monitor a few times, it goes back to normal. But then it slips to faded colors/white/streaks and I have to slap it again. Will the desktop monitor work okay, or is this an internal laptop problem and the desktop monitor will do the same thing?

Sounds like its a prob with your laptop monitor. Any desktop monitor should work just fine although you may need to buy a wire to connect to a desktop
