Son in USAF Basic Training, needs advice.?
My son is in basic training in Texas. He's 6'5 and very thin (220lbs). He's having trouble increasing his sit-up and push-up speed and is concerned he will not pass basic in 8 weeks because of that. His stamina has increased and he is able to do the runs without stopping now, but says no matter how hard he tries he can't get his sit-ups and push-ups per minute any faster. He's entering his third week of training, and says he's even tried to lose weight because he thinks that might be holding him back. I don't think he can afford to lose any more weight, though I haven't mentioned that. What words of encouragement and advice can I write to him? Any suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks.

This just started happening 2 days ago. Is this dangerous? Can I fix it myself or do I need to get a furnace repair guy in?

I mean other than video games or board games. I mean the kind of games you played outside with your friends.
I remember playing Ghost on the Loose, Higher Than the Ground, Pizza-Pizza-Daddy-O, Dodge Ball, Soft Ball in the alley, Jacks, Rocks (same as jacks, only with rocks and no ball.), chinese jump rope, double dutch, vampires, Who Dun It?
What do you remember?

my laptop monitor is flickering? If I slap the back of the laptop monitor a few times, it goes back to normal. But then it slips to faded colors/white/streaks and I have to slap it again. Will the desktop monitor work okay, or is this an internal laptop problem and the desktop monitor will do the same thing?
