Hi. First of all I don't think your one for detail. For instance I don't know what sort of team you have. I have no information about you and your work at all. My first advice to you is for you to improve on communication skills. You need to learn as much as you can about the individual members that make up your team. You need to watch them with constructive criticism as your best friend. You need to find somebody that is better at what your doing than you are so you can be a stronger supervisor. If your confident in what your doing then you can lead with out strife. It means also that your willing to deli gate authority. Find the strong players on your team or work force and give them promotions and responsibility. Get rid of the vine sappers. It's always great to locate the slow players and find out why they are slow. Maybe they were trained in wrong or not at all. If that is the case then they will improve after a second chance. If they don't then let them go so they can find their true talent. The individual success of your team members speaks volumes for you as a team leader.

Find out what your team needs to do what ever it does and supply it.

It can be things like information, tools, space, equipment, software.

It can be your support or training or just standing behind your team can do wonders.

It can be food, bring in snacks once a week for no reason, provide coffee.

Also make sure you deal directly with any problems people, don't just make new rules for the group because of one bad apple.

give all the team free tea&coffee breaks but do not stop working until the main lunch break
