Do you prefer Internet Explorer or Firefox and why?

Hello --

I like both browsers, but Firefox seems to be the one I always end up using ... as you said the tab system seems a little more convenient than the multiple window system.

One wonderful thing about Firefox that most people won't mention is that is cross platform. The version that runs on Linux is virtually indistinguishable from the version that runs on MS Windows. Needless to say this makes the learning curve almost flat.

The best thing I can say about IE is that it is standard on every MS Windows computer, and you can immediately use it to download Firefox!

I have found that some websites don't even work with IE7, so that's why I prefer Firefox. I also love the customization that Firefox offers, along with the add-ons. I always use different themes, and I think Firefox is better from a graphics standpoint. Overall, I find it to be a better user experience rather than a window for viewing the internet. It will be interesting to hear what die-hard IE users have to say...

Firefox because of the funky custom desk top stuff.

I like firefox more..although earlier version seemed to work slower, the new one is just great! I like how it clears private data, or restores previous session each time...it's smart baby!

definitely Internet explorer,i've only used firefox on apple computers,and i do not enjoy the experience

Firefox because it works a lot faster on my computer.
