Can and should i press charges against my brother, how would i do so?
My brother not even an hour ago just stole my digital camera. I'm tired of him stealing from me and my family. I want to press charges against him so he will finally understand but I dont know how I should go about this. Can someone please help me cause I"m seriously very very pissed off right now and I'm mad
maybe people don't understand why i'm upset but i just started using the camera again, (had it for a few months and had lost some of the accessories) and the camera cost a whole lot of money. no one can't tell me not to be upset. this isn't the first second, third or fourth time he's done something like this. all i wanna know is should i press charges and how would i go about doing so?

Ignore the stupid people who don't understand why you're upset. Duh, its not hard to figure out lol.
To report him to the police, all you have to do is call your local police station. They will come to your house, ask you questions, etc for them to file an official complaint.
Be careful though - the first time, they actually might not do anything, but it will go on his record as a theft (it depends on the situation). If you keep reporting him everytime something gets stolen, then he will get arrested. It is possible that he can go to jail. I'm not sure how fed up you are, and I'm not saying that you shouldn't report him, i just want you to understand how serious it can get!!!

File a police report and see a prosecutor. If he has been stealing from you for awhile and you do nothing about it you are enabling him to continue stealing. I would press charges so that he will understand your not going to take it anymore. Good Luck!

Call the police. File a police report. Know that you might be on your own. Family won't always agree to press charges against one of their own.

Call the police (not 911) and report the theft. They will come out to the scene of the crime and you will have to file a police report. If you have evidence that you had the camera (reciept, box, etc) that will help, and if you have a witness that saw him take it, even better.

The only way to start the process is to call the police. and if you have proof that it was stolen then you can press charges. if you know of other things he has taken name them in the same complaint to the police. they will look for him and he can be arrested. and charged for thief

Oh come on honey...calm down. I mean hell, I never did anything to my brother, but he did piss me off and I'm in the process of robbing and beating all of his friends. So, ah...I dunno. How much did he really do to you?
