War Poetry is poetry written during the war either as propaganda or to act as a means of telling people the realities of war.
See Wilfred Owen - wrote about his time during the war to show people what war could really be like.
And Jessie Pope - a propagandist who wrote about war in newspapers, describing war as a 'game', to get people to join. Hope this helped a bit =]
