I think he needs to accompany Cheney and the rest of his associates as he was not the only party to break international and domestic law. He was responsible for the serious injury and the killing of thousands of our soldiers and over 600,000 civilian Iraqi lives. there needs to be a trial similar to Nuremberg for the crimes against humanity. Then there needs to be a prosecution concerning the manufacturing of intelligence to support the invasion of Iraq, lying to the congress about weapons of mass destruction, preemptive war.The subversion of the constitution in a number of ways.

No, they won't. Bush and Blair marshalled the forces of Democracy against Theocratic Dictatorships. The world has suffered from terrorist attacks for decades, and they created a global coalition to oppose it. Their actions have contributed to the dismantling of numerous terrorist organizations, the removal and execution of a mass murderer, and led to the eventual killing of the most successful terrorist in the world. If you really have a problem with that... Well, I feel sorry for you. I guess if they do get charged, Obama will be right there with 'em huh? He did okay the invading of a friendly nation (pakistan) for the purpose of murdering a poor, old, sick arab man.

War criminals are rarely brought to trial unless they are ousted from power through military conflict, like the Nazis, Slobodan Milosevic, or Saddam Hussein. Nobody is going to do anything about Putin or Medvedev for the invasion of Georgia, for example.
There are definitely grounds to bring Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld to trial though - Guantanamo Bay, Abu Ghraib, the invasion of Iraq...
We can't expect rogue nations like Iran to comply with the demands of the United Nations, when we don't follow the Geneva Conventions or the UN Charter. The UN needs our support to be effective, and the truth is we have never given them our full support and commitment.

I'm a bit late on the draw here, but Yes. Bush (and everybody else involved) in the lies, fabrications and implementing of the war in Iraq, as well as 9/11, and they should be tried and brought to justice. Personally, I think it would be a more bitter pill for them to swallow if it was us that brought them to justice, here in our country. It would bring more shame upon them. It would show the world that we are in fact a nation of honest and just people, and it would keep people from being able to use the fact that other nations were involved therefore being able to say that they only wanted revenge. In other words, I think it would carry more weight.

Somehow America has made itself above the law in respect to Nuremburg like war trials. This is how they get away with using Cluster bombs on indiscriminate targets when the rest of the world deem these weapons to be illegal. Can attack another country without provocation, can carry a war over borders into neighbouring countries, has handed out more medals for officers who have been on trial for wrongdoing than to actual 'heroes'.

Bush, Cheney, Blair and the rest of the neocons. Yes an international trial at the Hague. The Iraqi citizens deseve justice.

No trial, because there were no crimes.
Can't ya get that thru your head?
Even if it were tried, who do ya think would try to block it? The democrats because they were all in it together. Geeezzz.
Politics is mostly all BS. The Democrats had the exact same intelligence that Bush did. They knew what the intelligence said and where it came from. They all voted for the war using that
same intelligence.
Saying that Bush lied was/is a talking point and the dems know that.
And someday maybe even dumb people like you will.
How about Bill Clinton? Should he be tried too?
Source(s): Senator Feingold tried to bring up impeachment many times and it never went anywhere. WHY? Because there are no grounds to impeach and the dems already know that. Btw, do some research and figure out some of these people like, Pelosi, Reid, Frank, Dodd, Durbin, etc. They are nothing but a bunch of liars. That is all they do is lie, all the time. Any charges against Bush will result in charges against them. They knew what was happening as it happened and agreed to it happening. - Anonymous1 decade ago
Bush shouldn't be charged with anything. Cheney is the one who should be locked up. You give Bush too much credit, the president doesn't get to make every decision for this country, there are other people involved.. and if anything Bush is just a puppet to Cheney.
