Did Merry and Darkness make the right choice?? (spoilers)?

I think so. She wasn't fighting so much for the crown as for the safety of her men. She gave up the crown of the unseelie court to gain some safety. Cel is dead and he is the main one she was worrying about taking over the crown because he was insane. I don't think it's over yet though. I believe she will eventually be crowned queen over all the courts. She is already queen of the slaugh. The goddess and consort want her to be the ruler because she is both fair and ruthless when necessary. But it has to be willing sacrifices to gain and frost was not a willing sacrifice for her. I think in some future book she will be asked to make a different sacrifice that she is willing to give to gain back the crown of the unseelie court and doyle's crown for king.
