What does "navia" mean in Latin?

My friend thinks it means "navy" (the one with ships, not the color), but isn't sure. Thanks!

Not really - it may be an obscure word based on 'navis' (which means 'ship'), but even if it were, it does not mean 'navy'.

    That's: Classis or Copiae Navales.

It probably means something to do with ships and the sea, navy and naval, as they seem to share the same root.
