I thought the Sony Ericsson was held in Key Biscayne, Florida. Is this a different one? Commentators said something the other night about Venus never winning this, how so? She beat Capriati in Florida years ago. I was there at that match. I'll appreciate some clarity. Thanks in advance.

Venus beat Vera Zvonareva in Doha on Sunday at the Sony Ericsson championship which is the season ending championship for the WTA.
Yes it was Venus Williams first ever WTA Tour championship in what is a year ending tournament for 8 highest ranked players.
