Why did so many Hispanics vote for Obama?

Whatever your ethnic background you vote for the candidate with the policies you support.At least thats what most other countries do.

because they know Obama will give them amnesty, the Hispanic population has exploded in the past 18 years

in 1990 Hispanic were 9% of the population, in 2006 they were 14.8%

to put this in perspective

the African American population went from 12.4% in 1990 to 12.8% in 2006

Because the far-right that control the republican party forced McCain to flip-flop on immigration reform.

He was one of the senators that wanted to create a legal route to citizenship for the illegals already here. Then the republican base started to freak out that is where the beginning of the end of power started.

You can't have all the power and only bow to a small fraction of the population and expect to keep that power when it is time to face reality.

Simple. BO wants to make a north american union--and take away our great country's borders and way of life.

They mexicans have been horning in on us for yrs--and want our country since they made such amess of their own--so down the road people here will be peeing the streets and defecating in my driveway.

Don't you remember the big fit Republicans threw about Illegal Immigrants and Undocumented Workers? Don't you remember all of the incredibly rude, cruel, and demeaning remarks that were made about Hispanics?

In part there was a big generational divide.

(2) They may have family members that are illegal and Obama supports amnesty.

He promised them handouts social programs, health insurance. and you get to pay for it.
