Gates arrest was deserved and charges should not of been dropped. If you don't know what I am refering to here, then pick up a new paper and read the head lines.

In one paragraph Sotomayor threw out 2000 document of evidence of discrimination.

I could not believe this came from an English newspaper. Leave it to the creators of the language, the English, to express distinctly what happened in the election of Obama. We all should examine who, how and why this cult of personality was created. Obama doesn't have a clue about what he is about to undertake. This individual could not have gotten a security clearance if he had joined the military service. Now he is about to be the Commander in Chief of the U.S. armed forces.

A victory for the hysterical Oprah Winfrey, the mad racist preacher Jeremiah Wright, the mainstream media who abandoned any sense of objectivity long ago, Europeans who despise America largely because they depend on her, comics who claim to be dangerous and fearless but would not dare attack genuinely powerful special interest groups. A victory for Obama-worshippers everywhere. A victory for the cult of the cult. A man who has done little with his life but has written about his achievements as if he had found the cure for cancer in between winning a marathon and building a nuclear reactor with his teeth. Victory for style over substance, hyperbole over history, rabble-raising over reality.

A victory for Hollywood, the most dysfunctional community in the world. Victory for Streisand, Spielberg, Soros and Sarandon. Victory for those who prefer welfare to will and interference to independence. For those who settle for group think and herd mentality rather than those who fight for individual initiative and the right to be out of step with meager political fashion.

Victory for a man who is no friend of freedom. He and his people have already stated that media has to be controlled so as to be balanced, without realizing the extraordinary irony within that statement. Like most liberal zealots, the Obama worshippers constantly speak of Fox and Limbaugh, when the vast bulk of television stations and newspapers are drastically liberal and anti-conservative. Senior Democrat Chuck Schumer said that just as pornography should be censored, so should talk radio. In other words, one of the few free and open means of popular expression may well be cornered and beaten by bullies who even in triumph cannot tolerate any criticism and opposition.

A victory for those who believe the state is better qualified to raise children than the family, for those who prefer teachers' unions to teaching and for those who are naively convinced that if the West is sufficiently weak towards its enemies, war and terror will dissolve as quickly as the tears on the face of a leftist celebrity.

A victory for social democracy even after most of Europe has come to the painful conclusion that social democracy leads to mediocrity, failure, unemployment, inflation, higher taxes and economic stagnation. A victory for intrusive lawyers, banal sentimentalists, social extremists and urban snobs.

Congratulations, America!

Critics have charged that King plagiarized that too by borrowing from a speech given to the Republican convention in 1952 by an African-American preacher named Archibald Carey, Jr.

Some of them say he gave Cary's speech word-for-word.

It can probably be said that King borrowed from the idea of the speech by Carey (who was a friend of King's), but only the last couple of paragraph's resembled Carey's speech and little of it is word-for-word.

Both men spun their remarks off the words of the song "My Country 'Tis of Thee."

King's speech ended with:

Land where my fathers died, land of the pilgrim's pride, from every mountainside, let freedom ring." And if America is to be a great nation, this must become true. So let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire. Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York. Let freedom ring from the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania! Let freedom ring from the snowcapped Rockies of Colorado! Let freedom ring from the curvaceous peaks of California! But not only that; let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia! Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee! Let freedom ring from every hill and every molehill of Mississippi. From every mountainside, let freedom ring.

Carey's speech ended with:

How do you feel about their decision not to file a complaint I think this couple is doing a grave injustice to their community not filing a complaint on this man. This man is not capable of serving as law enforcement making such poor judgment calls. He lacks the very fundamental ability of common sense and the very basic function for which he serves - to protect and serve. What if there were complications with the delivery and the baby died because they were not at the hospital in time. Whats next? Is he going to shoot at a little boy carrying a water pistol? This guy carries a gun and needs to make good judgment calls, not act in incompetency. This is a disgrace to law enforcement and this man needs to be fired. It is this couple civic duty to file the complaint.

Nearly all of the Obama voters interviewed did not know who the Democratic leaders of the House and Senate were, they did know that the Republican Party spent $150,000 on Sarah Palin's wardrobe and also knew that she was the one candidate with a pregnant teenage daughter.

I have a step daughter that is 18. I instructed her that she could have one visitor while I and her Father was gone. She ended up inviting two additional boys and another girl. I also came home to a freezer that had been left open and one solid brick of ice and a refridge with a broken handle. I called her and told her to come by I wanted to speak with her about it. Her father who was still out of town and aware of the situation told her not to do what I asked. We are about to get a divorce over it. I am liable for happens in my home. He says I am being unreasonable and I feel him and his adult daughter are extremely disrespectful.
