How do you think employers will view a Day without a gay? Positive or Negative?
Gays are thinking about having a protest day where they all don't show up for work. As an employer how would you view this behavior?
Oh wow. I guess they already had it yesterday 12/20/08 and I just realized it. I guess I answered my own question here, according to my own experience this had zero impact on the work force.

yeah, try calling in and not saying you're sick, but rather, you're gay. you'd be fired in a moment. there might be a lot of people tolerant to the gay lifestyle, but don't let it interfere with money making business. business is business. talk about separation of church and state....you'd better keep your politics/gay agenda separate too or you'll find yourself separated from your job.

It was yesterday, 12/10/08.
And the idea is to get them to view it negatively. They are supposed to see the loss in production for the day in such a negative light that they would not want to go through it again, and would fight for more gay rights to make sure that it didn't happen again.
Only problem is that almost no one participated in it. Maybe they weren't ready to come out of the closet yet, or maybe they didn't believe others would do it and they didn't want to lose their jobs for nothing, and maybe they just thought it would be ineffective and lose some influence rather than gain it.
Who really knows? But very few participated in it.

I didn't notice anything different yesterday. Except my boss supposedly went to "play golf". Hmmmm, I wonder...
