Why do people assume that all atheists have PhDs in science?
I agree with evolution and the big bang theory, and I know the evidence for each, but that doesn't mean I can tell you every single little detail about when/how life began exactly, because frankly we don't exactly know yet and we admit that. Just because I use logic and scientific evidence to determine that god doesn't exist doesn't mean I'm the next Einstein, yet a lot of theists seem to think it does.
What I mean is, a lot of the questions on here are like "hey atheists! explain the theory of evolution and the big bang theory in great detail." Just because we believe it doesn't mean we know every little tiny detail about it, yet it's assumed that we do.

It comes from acquired knowledge by atheists.
We have wide range of interest and natural hunger for Information.
It is GIVEN
But, as such, we are also perceived as ones (on this forum especially), those, who will have answers for everything.
It could be due to the fact, that over 90% of scientists are atheists.
BUT, not the other way around
The ´´askers´´ seem to miss this very important fact...(as many other)

atheists built their beliefs on the scientific and logical facts from my view, and they believe in no god, everything came from the big bang and so, but it is clear actually can be so clear that science and logic lead to god and knowing god.
and if athiests consider themselves know the cutting edge about the start of the universe or so, then they are totally wrong and they even dont desrve their PHDS,

I have never heard that before, but yeah, maybe it is because we don't believe in creationism and that we must work to prove to Christians that evolution is the way we came to be. I think it is stupid, personally. Why can't we just respect the thoughts of how the world came to be?

even as requested, maximum of those whom I actually have met and worked with replied that they only had no longer afflicted to grant one of those lot concept as they were too busy interpreting their container of activity, a lot of a few thing suggested they only did not care one way or the different. The Jesuit professors whom I actually have met and studied with were all Ph.D.s and they appeared to have a lived faith. None of those whom I actually have met, worked with or studied lower than were creationist. namaste

They don't, but nearly all people with PhD's in Science are Atheists.
It's pretty hard to rely on the scientific process if you believe that an invisible magical man will come and change your data at his will.

This one has one.
But I was an atheist long before I even began my B.Sc., never mind the doctorate.
Scholastic achievements don't make one an atheist, but they certainly can reinforce the concept of reality.

Because in them, faith is empowering. Anyone can pick up a bible and go al high and mighty about it so they think atheists are the same.
It's basically lowering us to their level so they could pick on our arguments, really childish and immature.

I used to hate science at school! Mind you, I also believed in god when I was a kid, so it just goes to show!
I enjoy it now, just so long as the brainiacs put it into terms I can understand
