What a load of dumbass answers.
Gourami's don't go through pregnancy as they're egglayers. So your fish isn't pregnant. Most Gouramis breed similar to Bettas - they're bubble nesters.
Fat on one side sounds more like a disorder, such as an abscess, a sign of over feeding or another internal disorder. Impossible to tell without a picture.

As always, catxcatxx is right. I can't stand when you ask a question and get stupid answers like these.
Gouramis don't get pregnant like guppies, platies, mollies, etc. They are not live bearers. Remember, gouramis are closely related to bettas. They are both labyrinth breathers, and they both blow bubble nests. If your betta is gravid (full of eggs), she will not expel them by herself, and there's no way she will reproduce without a male. For the eggs to come out, the male needs to wrap himself around her, and squeeze them out. Afterwords, he places them in a bubble nest he built, where he fertilizes them.
It doesn't really sound like your gourami is gravid though. She shouldn't be fat on one side. She should have a fat bump at the bottom of her body near her head, which should bulge down and out to the sides. Sounds more like a tumor or constipation or something.
Wow people... First of all, gouramis don't "lay" eggs. I described how it happens above. Secondly, what the hell good would breeding grass do for a bubble nest builder?

nicely, first what form of fish is it? that's needed, yet you will see the female fish's abdomen approximately waiting to blow up and for guppies, you will see 2 black dots at the back of her abdomen My buddy's fish follows her pregnant fish and chases her plenty because of the fact maximum fish consume the toddler fish or eggs so in case you notice any fish chasing her than you likely have a pregnant fish.

They look like they have eaten way too much. They are very fat. You need to get some breeding grass. If you have not already. They can lay their eggs there and the babies can be safe from the adults by hiding in there.

Fish lay eggs. In most cases they lay the eggs then the male will fertilize them. You may be referring to when they are ready to lay eggs. That I have no idea about. I hope things work out well for you.

I don't think fish get prego. they lay eggs. Besides a blue gourami normally means that its a male....especailly if it has a long tail. so I don't think its prego....sorry

It should be fat underneath the neck...all around. If it is, have fun with at least 5 babies (XD)
