Need names of movies or send me link to a video of airplane instrumentation going berserk during storms.?
You know how they show in movies planes or boats going through electrical storms and all of a sudden the instrumentation and control dials all go crazy. I'm looking for a video clip of that happening. Thanks
I realize this may or may not actually happen in real life, but I know they've done dramatizations of it in the movies or TV. That's what I'm looking for. I'm needing the clip to show people as an example of a metaphor I'm trying to communicate.

Jason, me thinks you have forgotten about the ADF, if an electrical storm is nearby, it can confuse the instrument. Thunderstorms emit electrical energy in the NDB band and will deflect the ADF needle towards the storm rather than the ndb it is tuned into. Sometimes called the poor mans radar for that reason. While it is nice to now where a storm is, the wild needle movements make NDB tracking virtually impossible.

Its going to take you a while. Mostly that's because it doesn't happen. Ever.
They put that stuff in movies for effect, but in reality its does not happen.
