Whatever happened to Casey Atwood?

After being fired by the Ultra-Evernham Motorsports team in 2003, he went back to the Busch Series full-time in 2004 but was fired late in the season. Since then, Atwood has been in a few starts in Busch/Nationwide and Truck competition, most recently driving in three races in the Nationwide series this year.

What the little people in my head don't even know who casey atwood is. But i did hear a rumor that barry bonds ate him , i believe that's true.

He races a few Busch races here and there.

You see, my dad and his friend stood in the rain at a local track for 2 hours waiting to meet him and he never showed up. They put the wammies on him and he has had nothing but bad luck since.

He has ran these races in 2008:

1.Gateway (finished 33)

2. Bristol ( finished 40th)

3. Richmond ( finished 23)

So he is at least trying to get back to the big leagues.

yes, he ran a three busch races, but has been used more to setup, test, and shake down cars for sprint cup drivers who can't make it to the track to do it themselves on weekends where the two series are in different cities.

I think he is running the nationwide race this week at homestead he is on the entry list.
