Do you believe in telling the truth or does it depend on the situation ?

There is truth, something that should always be told. But then there is saying nothing. Your opinion isn't really truth, it's just how you feel about it. Others migh feel differently. I see people telling other people their truth even when not asked. I hear them say they say it like it is. But the real truth is they are just looking for excuses to spout of their own opinions and hurt others while feeing superior. That isn't truth.

There is no situation that i feel the need to lie. Does this shirt look bad on me? Here's what i say. I don't care for it, but if you like you you should do what you'd like.

I also try not to be overly critical either. That isn't truth. If it looks ok on them, why say it isn't good enough? If i feel it's horrible, i might say something like, i'm sorry, i just don't care for that one at all.

Truth is easy.

Alot of people said,"Always stick to the truth so you don't have to keep covering up". However, I still believe in telling the truth depending not only on the situation but also who you tell to . Sometimes, its very difficult in both ways. For example, a very petty friend who is not on good terms with another does not like it if you go out with her enemy. If you hide, and she finds out, theres misunderstanding. If we tell her the truth she will create hell. This is just an example. Of course, we have a choice in who we want to mingle with. If we are strong and stand firm, and do not care what others think or act (take it or leave it) then its good to stick to the truth, that is if we are always doing the right things (I hope).

I believe in total honesty. If someone can't except the truth then tough. I should never put myself or anyone else in a situation where I would have to lie. No matter what the situation, always tell the truth because it will always come out in time.

People who always tell the truth - the complete truth tend to get themselves into difficult situations. Personally, i believe in telling the truth when necessary and not telling the truth when necessary, simple as. Its not lying, its protecting someones feelings from being hurt or causing trouble. Stick to telling the truth when needed it is so much easier .
