Im addicted to True Blood. Is a great show and I love Bill. I read the first two books, Im waiting for the third one, because I cant find it. Is a different show with romance, sex, comedy, mystery and horror. I love the characters and that fantasy world. I cant wait for second season (summer 2009 I heard). You should enter HBO True Blood site if you are a Die Hard fan.

I have read up to book 5, at that point the writing gets a bit sloppy and lazy and the plot becomes predicatable and formulaic. She is torn between men, gets in trouble and gets rescued. She seems to have lost her strength and spirit. But I will keep reading. I have to think of the book series and tv series as two seperate entities so they are both good in their own right. I like the direction of the show though and am really interested in seeing where they take it. The hopeless romantic in me wants Bill and Sookie to end up together, but I guess you cant really have a happy ending in a vampire story can you?

I think so. The show is a bit padded (really could do without Tara), but I enjoy it a lot.

Edit: HBO is a pay channel, it doesn't really make sense for them to give away their shows for free. That said, I'm sure you can find them online if you look hard enough.

I'm such a True Blood addict! It is definitely worth watching. I writers have done an amazing job with the storyline. I'm always on the edge of my seat watching! I hope you watch it and enjoy it as much as I do!

It is sooo worth watching. I absolutely love it, I didn't think I would but I instantly became obsessed with it. Just watch one episode and see if you like it!

Yeah, it's worth watching..but I dont know how to solve your non-HBO dilemma.

Definitely worth watching. Great story telling and engrossing storyline.
