how many hours could you spend looking @ animals in the Philadelphia Zoo ?

There are plenty of exhibits to keep your attention at the Philadelphia Zoo for hours and that's not counting the animals. I figure you could go to the Zoo for 8 hours a day for 3 days before you start to get reruns. I think it's worth it. There's always new exhibits

A lot less than we did. I go to the zoo every 20 years or so and that's plenty for me. It was INCREDIBLY hot the day we went, the parking is awful and it really does seem like it's squeezed into a small space. I like that it's the oldest one in the nation, but I'm not much into animals in the first place. They don't even have elephants anymore and that one elephant was the only animal that paid any of any attention! You could tell it loved the attention and it seemed to be performing for us. (I don't know if it was a he or she.)

I could be there all day...the zoo is great.
