Xbox 360 elite....... or Xbox 360 arcade?

My husbands xbox 360 arcade broke down 3 times and we had to send it in to get it fixed all the time! He now has the ELITE and we have absolutely no problems with it!! Plus it comes with a 3 year warranty!!

Xbox 360 elite!!!! are you kidding with xbox 360 arcade you have to buy a bunch of more wires and memory, and all sorts of stuff. to equal the elite. The arcade is mainly a piece of sh*t they put out there to make people buy and xbox 360, then they realize later they need all sorts of cables and what not.

the xbox 360 pro edition is the way to go.

it has a 60 GB hard drive and is a compromise between you and your parents ideas. I have a pro with 2 20 GB hard drives and it works perfect. I'm sure your parents wouldn't mind a compromise, I have had mine for 3 years and never have had a problem,

Oh, and always keep your xbox 360 on its side. I have had two games get destroyed by having the 360 fall over while they were playing

Pro is the way to go!

Agree with the Pro because you will want the hard drive. You can download movies, tv shows, games and demos on it. The hard drive is also needed if you want to play any of the older compatible Xbox games because downloads the emulator necessary for each older game to the hard drive.

The new pros have 60 gb hard drives which are a big improvement over the older ones with 60 gb drives.

It's that you can upgrade the Arcade by adding a hard drive.

The XBOX 360 Elite isn't better then the XBOX 360 Arcade in any way. They have the same hardware, they do the same things, and the Arcade is a lot less money.

just say arcrade brakes easily and it costs more to upgrade it to play new games then to buy an xbox 360 elite!

It really depends.

If all you plan on doing is online gameplay and the such then get the Arcade. I have the Arcade and have no problems what-so-ever.

However, if are a "true" gamer, and really need 120GB of memory for saving games, music, etc. Get the elite.

Well the only difference between the Pro and the Elite, is the Elite is black and the Pro is white, the Elite comes with 120 gig hard drive and the Pro comes with 60 gig, the Elite comes with HDMI cables. It is just a matter of preference, if you are going to download alot of content than you might ought to go with the Elite, and if you are just wanting to game than get the Pro. Just depends on how much you want to spend, I bought the Pro and suits me just find.

the only difference is that the colour is different.... black does look cooler and the hard drive is bigger which i think is a big ripoff! like if u compare it with a PS3, though it has smaller hard drive, it comes with a blue-ray player and u can log online for free unlike xbox where u buy a friggin xbox live card! dont get me wrong... i love xbox but MS is making tons of money! if i were u, i'll go with the arcade and use the extra money saved for your extra controllers, xbox live, and games. if u want the cool black colour case.... u can go to site like this one
