How much should i exercise per day?
I am 13, 5' 4", and want to lose weight. How much should i exercise per day to lose about 15- 20 pounds by at least April? Would 15 minutes on the treadmill, 5 minutes doing jumping jacks, and 15-30 minutes doing Wii Fit work?? is there anything else you suggest i do lose weight?? are there any other good exercises that you know of? how long should i exercise per day?

It sounds like you have a good plan worked out. It's best to do your cardio continuously to keep your heart rate up. Breaks between getting off the treadmill and onto the next thing should be about a minute. Cardio is the only way to lose fat, everything else is just toning, I recommend any tae bo tapes, cardio + muscle toning :]
Oh and, workout in the morning, before you eat if you can. This way you burn pure fat and I found that I eat less during the day when i workout in the morning. And if you just get it over with in the morning, you don't have to think about it all day. Just remember it's important to eat right with any weight loss program.
hope i helped!

Well, I'm a ballet dancer so I am very familiar with weight loss and gain. You should do as much exercise as possible, but be careful not to overexercise and not to injure yourself. The plan you seem to have made seems like a great idea! I'm not familiar with Wii Fit, but I hear it's great, so about 30 minutes on that seems good. And as far as food goes, here's a secret: "warming" spices help speed up metabolism (i.e. cinnamon, cumin, mustard seed, etc.). Three rules I live by: 1.Never skip meals 2. Get rid of tempting foods in the house and 3. Don't eat too close to bedtime.

That feels like plenty honestly - 30 minutes. of aerobic is lots if you're doing it day-to-day. Don't overdo it - there may be chance for accidents if you're doing an excessive amount of. Everyone has to uncover a well steadiness for his or her frame, however watch out. If the ones timeframes be just right for you, then it is well. I exercise for half-hour of aerobic and 25 - half-hour of weights, then 15 - 20 mins of abs and stretching. Usually finally ends up totalling a million a million/two hours. But that is what is well for me and my targets.

eat more fruits and Veggies...try running outside for a steady pace for about 20 minutes or you can run a mile...jump rope for a steady pace would be better then jumping jacks...try doing sit ups and other core exercises...do sprints start off slow but as you become more in shape increase workouts...oh and you can ride a bike
