I am not necessarily talking about the food but more into the entertainment and social aspect of it all.

If you are having people over for a party or dinner, charge an admission fee of a least one non-perishable food item, and then after the big meal deliver the goods to a local food pantry or soup kitchen. This way you share your blessing with those that don't have as much.

You can go around the table and talk about what each of you are thankful for.
You can play some games (indoor and outdoor).
Watch tv (football and the parades).
