How do I become licensed and registered for home childcare in the state of Texas?
I am babysitting for a friend and she asked me to become licensed and registered for home daycare. I can't find any phone numbers or websites that tell me how to register. Also, can I do this online?

This might just be a great opportunity for you, don't let it pass. Try calling just about anyone and everyone, such as the mayor, city manager, even council or commissioners' offices. Go under HEALTH headline in blue or white pages. Even ask at the CHILDREN AND FAMILY's OFFICE. If still no information is obtained, go through as many attorneys dealing in business, corporations, etc., you can. Ask for any pertinent number or address.
Also look under anything and everything similar to your business in the white or blue pages under STATE OF TEXAS.
