Do you think President Obama will pardon George W. Bush, or will he begin the investigations?

An investigation at this point would be too costly in the sense of money and time to the American politic and government. Bush has to live with his legacy for the rest of his life, that should be punishment enough.

The President is lot kinder to ex-Presidents. For example, in 2001, president Bush stopped an Congressional investigation on President Clinton by invoking executive privilege. President Obama will do the same.

Your question is a contradiction of terms. George Bush has not been charged with any crimes to date. Therefore there is nothing for Obama to pardon. He could appoint a special prosecutor and launch investigations, but I would not hold my breath waiting for that happen.

For what reason would anyone need to investigate George Bush? If anything, I'd investigate Obama for his shady doings during his campaign, which I totally accept because we need a scapegoat that's retarded, a con man, smooth talker, liar and cheesy smiler. I'd rather have Obama than McCain to try cleaning up the mess of 8 years past. Obama will get white hair faster than Bill Clinton did and am sure his health will get affected because he does not have adequate experience to become a world leader.

    Woe on Obama!

I would think that Bush will pardon himself and all his cronies. If he doesn't I could see Obama doing it as a precaution against over zealous enemies of Bush, or whatever nonsense used to justify it.

For what? that's obtrusive you probably did no longer get the memo that even tho there became right into a democratic homestead neither Obama or the different democrat theory there became into something to value him with or they might have.

I would hope there are investigations into the Bush administrations and prosecutions if warranted, but I suspect the attitude will be to let sleeping dogs lie,

George Bush in one of his last acts will use his presidential prerogative and grant himself, Cheney and everyone immunity from prosecution for his war crimes. A pre-emptive legal maneuver. The president has the power to pardon, but this will no doubt be a challenge constitutionally.

The war was stupid, but I don't think Bush needs to be under investigation. He didn't cross any lines, though he came close.

I'm a huge Obama supporter, by the way.
