Try baby sitting (be shure you check out the family and neighborhood first, have a sure safe ride to and from and parents know your schedule) Do odd jobs for people, get groceries for an elderly person, walk a neighbors dog, get a paper route (do they still have those?) Help some one clean house for an important event, Look around you for any opportunity that you can MAKE. Once you get started it gets easier to find them. Look for needs that you see that people have and fill them. Keep yourself available to fill those niches and save your money and you not only will be able to help your family, you will have lain the ground work for a very successful life. Good Hunting, CR

Try cleaning houses, washing cars, raking leaves, babysitting, sweeping porches, sidewalks and driveways, dog walking, picking up dog poop and doing odd chores for friends and neighbors. You could teach older neighbors computer skills like - how to use the internet, send and receive e-mail, set up an email account, or other basic programs and skills. Show them how to type and edit letters on Word, for example and how to do their own printed envelopes.

There’s a company employing adults in my area that does nothing but pick up dog poop in people's yards. Get some gloves, a plastic bag and you're good to go.

My friends from school started washing windows at local shopping centers and malls, to earn extra money. It turned into a real business for them. That's all they do now. You need window cleaner, a bucket, a squeegee and a towel. Another low investment way to earn money.

There are lots of opportunities. You will be making your own job this way and can be flexible. Just be sure if you say you're going to do something for someone, get the job done well and on time. You want to have an excellent working reputation to get new customers and keep the old ones. Ask these people to spread the word that you need money and are willing to work.

Make a flyer with your name, phone number and what jobs you'll do. Leave it on the neighbors' doorknob, and give it to anyone you work for. You'll get lots of offers this way.

The link below is for California, but most states should have a similar agency to help young people who want to work. Good luck, honey.

You can take surveys online to make some extra cash. These don't ask for money or a credit card.

It's not enough to replace your job or anything, only about $100 per week.

Fast food, fast food, oh and fast food. You'll need a work permit. Good luck.
