Does my Mac come with photo editing software?

I have a new iMac. I do not know all of the programs, but does anyone know if the standard mac with leopard and iLife comes with a photo editing software? I'd like to be able to do something like put a horse head on a person.

    iPhoto is part of iLife.

    It's a photo organizer and basic editor.

    You can get GIMP, which is a free alternative to Photoshop.

    To ask for the BEST photo editing software but are only willing to spend $80 is a complete contradiction. Would you ask for a Rolls for $10,000? I also found GIMP difficult to use. That being said, Photoshop Elements is a great program & easy to use.

    it comes with iphoto but its not that good you would need photoshop or gimp if you wanted to put a horse head on a person
