In Bavaria/Germany in April 1986 health problems?
My wife lived in Bavaria in 1986 and has ill health. I am wondering if any other former DODDS students from that region and time period (1986-1990) have experienced any odd health issues, cancers, etc? I cannot find a single study on this and find it odd. You would think somebody somewhere would have checked on all these children over time.
In April 86 the Chernobyl disaster occurred. Bavaria is listed as one of the few regions with higher than average exposure to radiation. She was in 6th grade at the time. I was wondering if there may be some correlation between her illness and her possible exposure?

just a small thought but have you tried the message boards for her old school [yes they do have them for DODD schools around the world, where she might be able to get in touch with her class mates directly and see how their health is doing.
I was schooled and stationed in Germany for a long time growing up and they have several for my old school.
And I am sorry but why on earth do you think they would follow up on a bunch of military brats, and mores to the point how could they, did something occur at the school during her time there that gives you a reason to think others might be affected.
OH sh**it so it did.....am so sorry totally forgot about it, which is sad really as from the way the winds blew [i was in the UK at the time] certain areas also got snagged with the fall out rain.
Again I would honestly try the message boards as a starting point.....punch the school she was at, the have listings for DODD schools just find the one she was at and go from there.
