All was going well with my crush, then suddenly he stopped acknowledging me...?
I have no idea what he's think, and I am hurt. We were clearly doing well, dropping hints frequently, then one day-- it all stopped. Today, he noticed me [i'm pretty sure], but he only looked for a split second. No "hello"s.
Is he just a joke? What is your opinion?
What should I do the next time I spot him?

How about talking with him?
If you don't talk with him, you'll never know what's going on- or when you do finally find out via gossip, it'll be too late. You have no idea of whether this is about you or about something that's going on in his life.
Don't waste time with 'hints' We guys miss most of them, anyway.
Guys appreciate a lady who doesn't play games.

omg do not confront him b/c guys run from that kind of stuff. they don't like to "talk things out."
i was in the same situation a while back and confronted the guy, and basically ruined my chances with someone i really liked. sometimes guys really need their space. focus on what you have to do and forget about him; if it's meant to work out, he'll start realizing he misses you and then he'll put in a lot of effort like before, calling you, asking you out, etc.
just don't chase him. let him do the work. if you see him, say "hi," act normal, but don't put in too much effort. make sure he knows you have your own life and being with him will not make or break you (obviously). in other words, don't stress.

You passed the line of inaction. You both took too long to make a move, and now it's gone too far. He's probably given up and can't face the fact that he's too chicken to ask you out. If you really like him, tell him. Otherwise, you should just move on.

Okay, first off, act like nothing's bothering you because you don't really know what that was about. Second, this doesn't sound like a big deal. Third, a possible reason for this may be he's testing you out to see if you care, maybe because he saw you with another guy, a reason, idk. I will bet you twenty bucks though, he won't do it again.

why do you seem hurt? from what i read, i can infer that you all did not go out. you say you are hurt? from what? people always stress about little things in life, when in fact, they have everything they possibly need. stop stressing yourself over little things, and i bet you will feel a relief.

Boys are just dumb. Plain and simple, like fashion... one day it's in and the next it's out.

He got wet feet and chickened out. Oh well, his loss right?

Maybe he is tired of chasing you, but if you like him that much then you need to let him.
