According to the chart, It could be a Pentium III, a Celeron or a Xeon processor.
To be sure, a utility can check your processor for the exact name. Go to:
and get the CPU-Z utility. It will tell you exactly what kind of processor you have.

The processor is an Intel.... Thats pretty much all I can tell you. You need to find out the speed in GHz. Download and run AIDA32 on the computer & it'll tell you the processor & motherboard model numbers

You described the processor chip which can be replaced but you need to make sure that the new chip is compatible with your motherboard. You may also need to update the bios.
