how can i find my DNS on my Mac? (for xbox)?

i have tried looking in terminal and ive used system preferences. but when i use those numbers in Xbox it fails.

    Go into "System Preferences"

    select "Internet & Network"

    select "Network"

    on the bottom right of there is an "Advanced" button select it

    three (3) tabs from the left on the top is a DNS tab and there you will find you DNS

    You usually can find your DNS server IP address in your router.

    I don't know who makes your router so I can't help you there.

    I believe on a mac you go into the terminal and type nslookup and it should give you the IP for your ISP DNS server.
