Need to get to Palmdale?

I am currently in Van Nuys and I am trying to get to Palmdale anyone know how to do it avoiding the fires

    The fires are in Santa Barbara, no where near where you're going.

    I assume you have no car and cannot rent one.

    You'll have to take the Metrolink train.

    Hey Chiero, update:

    Metrolink is closed. I-5 is closed. I-14 is closed. The only way there is the LOOOONG way around. Take the 101-134-210 east to the 15, then up to Pearblossom highway, then west to Palmdale. Or go west on 101 to 126 by Ventura, then take 126 east.
