does a girl really care about a guys height?

I might be the reason she turned you down. Or, she could want to go with somone else. There could be many reasons. Height matters to some people, bt it's really a personal preference. Don't worry though, girls are usually taller than the guys but in high school it seems to reverse and the girl are shorter.

I don't think you should generalize all girls just because of this one bad experience. During these adolescent years, kids can be really cruel and shallow. It won't always be like that, but for now almost everyone has their head in the wrong place. This is not say that the girl turned you down because of your height. You won't know why she said no unless you ask her directly and then there is really no way to tell if she is speaking truthfully. The best thing you can do is to remain confident in yourself. There will be brighter days, tons more girls, and many years to develop your self esteem. Always stay true to yourself and I can guarantee you will find the girl you are looking for eventually.

I'm always taller than the guys I like because I'm rather tall.

I think the guy in the relationship would be the one not really okay with it, me being a girl I really do not mind.

It might not be entirely about your height, but yeah, it probably contributed to the rejection. I know it sounds bad, but most girls want a guy their height or (preferably) taller. Sorry.

You might need to ask her why she turned you down. It could be a number of reasons. It isn't necessarily your height. Maybe she already had a date or wanted to go with her friends and mingle.

yes she did this cause of your height,and i bet that your a nice guy but i wouldn't go out which you cause your short.and i have friends your height and the girl your talking about is my height.so that sucks for you!!!
